Katoni’s role in supporting NOV FPS
From a basis of design Katoni developed a fully compliant conceptual topsides process design to achieve the desired production rates and product specifications to support NOVs tender to the End User.
Collaboration in action
Understanding the NOV’s needs - To satisfy NOV’s and the end user’s requirements Katoni had to develop the overall process flow scheme, individual system process flow diagrams, HYSYS simulations, heat and mass balance reports and a HYSYS simulation report for the entire FPSO topsides.
Delivery – Through our knowledge and experience of Brazilian topsides process systems, the Petrobras tendering process and expertise in building efficient HYSYS simulations, a compliant solution was delivered on time and within budget.
The Katoni Way – A fast track delivery was achieved due to the development of a robust and flexible HYSYS simulation which was configured to manage the complexities within the system. The model was easily replicated for multiple design scenarios resulting in cost and time savings without compromising qualit
