In the role you will want to deliver the following:
• Ownership of Process Safety technical output to ensure resolution for clients
• Work in accordance with Katoni’s integrated management system
• Work in accordance with relevant company, industry, international and client Codes, Standards and Procedures
• Increased personal and corporate knowledge of current and new legislative requirements.
• Provide engineering input to proposals and estimates for project work scopes
• Provide input to progress and planning meetings
• Be fully aware of team and personal workload in order to plan, organise and prioritise work to ensure all engineering deliverable submission/issue dates are met
• Production of deliverables on schedule and within budget
• Interfaces to other disciplines
• Actively participate in various engineering review meetings such as P&ID Reviews, HAZOP, RGA, LOPA, C&E Reviews etc
• Production of Process Safety discipline documentation deliverables such as;
- Safety Philosophy Documents
- P&ID Redline Mark-ups
- Relief valve sizing calculations
- Control valve sizing calculations
- Process Safety Time calculations
- Produce calculations required for the role and participate in design reviews
• Production of Functional Safety deliverables including Process Hazard Analysis, SIL determination reports and SIL verification studies
• Reports on any critical issues identified and make proposal for remedial action.
• Read, understand and ensure application of project specifications, national and international standards in the preparation and revision of clear and accurate engineering calculations, drawings and other documentation.
• Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
