About the Role:
Katoni Engineering is seeking an experienced Integrity Engineer with a structural bias to join our team on a secondment basis for a prominent client in the oil and gas sector. This position is based in Aberdeen with a flexible, hybrid working arrangement. As part of our commitment to supporting offshore oil and gas operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the structural integrity of our client’s brownfield assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct integrity assessments, monitoring, and inspection planning for brownfield offshore structures.
Collaborate with the client’s team to address structural integrity challenges, particularly for aged offshore assets.
Develop and review structural integrity management plans, risk assessments, and engineering analyses.
Provide technical support to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, optimizing asset reliability and performance.
Support asset life extension initiatives, applying your experience in brownfield modifications and upgrades.
Requirements:
Degree in Structural, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Proven experience in structural integrity engineering within the offshore oil and gas industry, particularly in brownfield projects.
Familiarity with offshore regulatory standards, asset integrity principles, and life extension of aging infrastructure.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you’ll be working closely with both Katoni Engineering and our client’s team..
